Today I got to be a "STAY at home mom" for the first time. I haven't actually worked a job outside our home since before our four-year-old son was born, so techically I've been a SAHM and/or WAHM for at least that long, but for the past five years, I've had to drive my daughter to school every day. As an "interdistrict transfer student" (meaning we live across town) we were responsible for transportation to and from school because there was no bus route from her school that served our neighborhood. Now she goes to the neighborhood school assigned to our address and not only has bus transportation available, but is actually in walking/biking distance...
Ahhhh... what to do with my morning? Yep, you're lookin' at it. I'm definitely going to need more coffee.
